Holy Arches, Catwoman

Located in Cobble Hill inside the renovated and converted 1858-built Peter’s Church & Academy, this duplex unit inside The Arches needed a main bedroom suite that spoke to our client’s love of modern Japanese style. We set off to create an environment that brought out feelings of staying in a 5-star boutique resort with a moody color story that emphasized the ridiculously tall 18’ ceilings. A custom BS/D-designed walnut bed, headboard, and integrated bedside tables paired with Jake Sconces by Triple Seven Home contrast beautifully with the darker walls, as does the floating BS/D-designed console and bathroom vanity against the dark plaster walls by Kamp Studios & handmade concrete sink basin from our friends in PA, Stanley Artisan Concrete. The Arrow pendant from Apparatus Studio is delicately suspended above the bed and provides a sculptural piece of art in the form of lighting as you rest your head.
